To improve palliative care, DIGITAL-PALL focuses on four key areas:
Building digital capacity
Supporting palliative care professionals, educators and managers in developing the digital skills needed for everyday clinical practice, teaching and management.
This includes identifying current gaps, understanding training needs, and providing practical tools and training to help teams confidently use digital solutions.
Developing educational programmes
Expanding access to high-quality, free online education in palliative care.
We develop interactive, evidence-based training programmes for pediatric and non-cancer palliative care — including bereavement support — helping palliative care professionals build the knowledge and skills needed for real-life practice.
Integrating digital tools in care
Supporting palliative care teams in integrating digital tools into everyday clinical practice.
From improving communication within multidisciplinary teams to enabling better use of patient data, we help professionals deliver more coordinated, informed, and patient-centred care.
Pilot Educational Courses
Testing and refining educational programmes across three key areas: pediatric palliative care, non-cancer palliative care, and bereavement support.
The pilots allow healthcare professionals to apply learning in practice and provide feedback for improving the final programmes.
Sharing knowledge and impact
Ensuring that the project’s results are visible, accessible, and used in practice.
Through communication, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration, we raise awareness of palliative care, make resources easy to access in a digital environment, and help open conversations around serious illness and care.
